Cathedral Classes
At Cathedral Travel we love teaching and connecting people with the joy of travel. This is part of all of our travel experiences. Our goal is to immerse you in the people and places we meet at the intersection of faith and history. There are so many compelling stories to tell and footsteps to follow. We invite you to continue this journey of discovery even when we are not traveling abroad. Below is a four course setting of our classes this New Year!

Book Discussion
'The Last Palace'
by Norman Eisen
Tuesday, March 11, 2025 4:30 - 5:30 at the Eden Prarie Library
An amazing biography of a building; the Petschek Palace. Eisen (former US ambassador to Czechia who lived in the palace) follows the twists and turns of the inhabitants of this imposing structure. A great way to understand the past 100 years of Prague and the Czech Republic. His chapters on Shirley Temple Black, yes that Shirley Temple, are unforgettable. Book available though Barnes & Noble or Amazon.

The Czech film scene is world famous. With the likes of Milos Forman and Jiři Menzel, their work is regularly recognized by the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. We will be hosting the comic masterpiece,
"I served the King of England". Inspired by the 1971 novel of the same name, it takes digs at the fascist and communist past of the Czech Republic.
