Ireland & Scotland

This tour will connect travelers to the wonders and history of these storied countries. We will traverse rugged highlands and skirt majestic coastlands. Participants will also encounter the national treasures of literature, distilleries, and horse racing. Starting from the south of Ireland we will travel across lush countrysides then enter the urban centers of Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh.

 

Ireland and Scotland have complex and intertwining cultures. Along the way we will encounter the enduring legacy of St. Patrick and the intersection of faith and history on these island nations. Their sibling rivalry with England is ever present. On the 70th jubilee of Queen Elizabeth, it will be inspiring to visit her favorite retreat, Balmoral Castle! 

 

We will also visit the Titanic Museum and learn more of its ill fated maiden voyage. We will visit pubs and churches as well as castles and golf courses. Woolen mills and the Blarney Stone are additional highlights of this Adventure to Ireland and Scotland.

Joel & Sarah will host a pre-tour get together in 2023 for participants to meet and greet. We will share an ‘Open Spaces Exercise’ and learn about the ‘Key Characters’ of Ireland and Scotland that shaped these countries.
