Cathedral Classes
At Cathedral Travel we love teaching and connecting people with the joy of travel. This is part of all of our travel experiences. Our goal is to immerse you in the people and places we meet at the intersection of faith and history. There are so many compelling stories to tell and footsteps to follow. We invite you to continue this journey of discovery even when we are not traveling abroad.

'The Journey'
Tues. September 17 , 2024
1:00pm
Minneapolis Institute of Art
2400 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404
As a travel company we thought it would be fun to explore the idea of travel through art. This class will be amazing on account of the fact that we will be special guests at the world famous Prints & Drawing Collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
We will view some of the world’s earliest printed maps, as well as exquisite etchings and drawings. There will be a range of subjects including dreamscapes, landscapes and travel sketch books.
Curator Lori Williamson will welcome us to view and interpret some of the best works on hand. Together, we selected a virtuoso collection around the theme - 'The Journey'. Included will be works by Rembrandt, Chagall, Dürer, Wyeth and more.
There is no charge for admission to this class. We will meet at the entrance of the Mia and make our way through the courtyard to the Prints & Drawing Collection Room. Parking is available along the street or ramps on 3rd Ave. Register below for this one of a kind class!

Film Festival - Czech it out!
Friday. November 15 , 2024
5:00pm
Flagstone Presbyterian Home
8350 Commonwealth Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344
The Czech film scene is world famous. With the likes of Milos Forman and Jiři Menzel, their work is regularly recognized by the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival. We will be hosting the comic masterpiece,
"I served the King of England". Inspired by the 1971 novel of the same name, it takes digs at the fascist and communist past of the Czech Republic.
